The Biosensors lab works closely with industry and thus, a lot of the research taking place here is based on applications of technology. Consequently, several research projects take place under the 'UC Discovery Grant', which is a collaboration amognst university research and the industry. While the name of the lab is Biosensors, it is only for historical reasons. In actuality, the lab focuses on several projects such as glucose sensor studies, blood glucose dynamics, stem cell reimplantation studies, implant studies in rodents, mass transfer analysis in tissues, proteomics and sensor signal processing. Rather than a very brief synopsis of each of the projects, here are the actual publications that describe the research in much more detail. |
